Christopher J. Vandenberg J.D.

Christopher is currently the Chief Operating Officer of ATI Ambulance and is also the Chief Financial Officer for AMB Tran Group, Ltd. – a private holding company operating ambulance under the names of ATI Ambulance, Trace Ambulance and Vandenberg Ambulance. At AMB Tran Group, Ltd., he heads the accounting and legal departments and spearheads various lobbying efforts on behalf of the organization and the private ambulance industry as a whole.

Prior to AMB Tran Group, Ltd., Christopher was the manager of the State of Illinois’ only seed and early stage venture capital program for the Illinois Finance Authority. During that time he managed an active portfolio of over 20 investments, participating in over 25 transactions representing in excess $57,000,000 of capital invested. At IFA, his responsibilities included negotiating and executing private placements and representing the IFA on the Boards’ of Directors, overseeing the operation and management of start-up technology companies. He also participated in a number of debt transactions for a variety of different types of entities, including local governments units, not for profits and small manufacturing businesses.

Christopher currently sits on the Board of the Norwegian American Hospital Foundation and Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation. Christopher also serves as the President for the Illinois State Ambulance Association and as a member of the American Ambulance Association Government Affairs Committee. Additionally, Christopher is admitted to the Bar for the State of Illinois and in the Northern district of Illinois. He maintains his memberships in the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Christopher received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in 2008 and his Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in 2002.
