Michael Witherspoon currently serves as the Operations Manager for ATI Ambulance. Michael began working with ATI Ambulance in 2008. In addition to holding concurrent licenses as an EMT-B, Lead Instructor and EMD, Michael is certified in and functions in the capacities of CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor, EMS Safety Instructor, CEVO and Driving Instructor. Michael reviews BLS EMS Reports for quality improvement. In his role as Operations Manager, Michael coordinates all garage-based activities with senior management and Dispatch. Additionally, Michael coaches and develops employees and coordinates the Student Rider program. Michael is the company PPERS liaison and represents ATI/ATG at various preparedness drills and exercises.

Michael comes to EMS with an extensive background in retail security management and special events. Actively working to complete his Bachelors of Science degree in Public Safety and Emergency Management, Michael presently holds a degree in Emergency Management. Michael is a faculty member at Wilbur Wright College where he teaches courses in emergency management and homeland security.
