Norah J Power, CCEMPT

Norah J. Power currently serves in Management, Field Supervision, and daily Operations at ATI. She is a 21 year veteran in the emergency medical field and has been employed by ATI since 1998. Norah values hospitality, service to others and equality. In addition to Paramedic, she is one of the lead educators at ATI as a Preceptor, EMS Lead Instructor and NAEMT Safety Instructor.

Norah’s perseverance for personal development in the ever-changing EMS world has expanded her achievements to include Critical Care Paramedic (CCEMTP) and Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO). Her commitment to social justice has led her to the newly appointed CAA Chief Cultural Diversity Officer.

Sharing her passion for emergency medical work, Norah is adjunct faculty for Malcolm X College Paramedic program and trains in the field, classroom and ATI.

Norah lives in her hometown Evanston, IL with her dog Stryker. She is an avid reader and member of a women’s softball league since 2003. She lives by the saying, Enjoy the little things in life for one day you may realize they are big things.
